89 FC GTUs need help!
Hi , Please help me out to find out what is wrong with my car, I am new to RX7 and bought the 89 FC GTUs from Blake Q a few months ago.
I went AutoX last Sunday at a regional event with my 89 GTUs. The car was hesitation or bog when I was coming out of a tight left hand cross-over(quick transition). I was hard on the gas coming out of the corner and I swear I heard a "bee" sound from the dash and the car bogged. The first time it happened I did not had my eyes on the dash and I thought it was fuel starvation problem since the GTUs was running abit below 1/4 tank gas. On my second run, it happaned again. So I went to a gas station after heat 1 and fill 15 L of gas and hope that would solved the problem. damn it , on my third run the hesitation/bog still there but I did notice the LOW OIL warning light was on while it happaned. so I checked the oil level after the run and it was good and still on the full mark.
now I am concerned I might damaged the motor. Did this happened to you before? what is the problem/and cause? Is it a FC problem?
I love this car and I know how rare it is. I don't want any bad thing happen to her. Please help me out.
thanks in advance!
