88 fuel problems

hello everyone!!!!
I am the proud owner of 85 se and a beautiful 88 vert, which i'm having a couple of problems . It smells like gas when i drive it, when top down even my clothes ends up smelling like gas. it really doesn't flood so i don't know if it's the injectors, and another thing is exessive fuel consumption of gas.
pls help someone!!!!!!!
thanks
maikel

When I smelled gas with my rx7 I found out that a secondary was leaking. Not good as it can easily start a fire and destroy the entire engine bay. Another possibility is the pulsation dampener is leaking. This ain't good either. If the car is just running too rich, you would see some other signs. My exhaust once turned my rear bumper black. It was the O2 sensor. I don't think strong gas fume smell could be good. Find it and fix it soon.

DO NOT DRIVE THE CAR ANY FATHER!!!!!!!! SEARCH FUEL PUASLATION DAMPNER. Sorry for the caps, but ALOT of sevens burn to the ground for what you have just described. There is a FPD at the end of the primary fuel rail and it will leak gas if it breaks causing FIRES!!!!
