Exclamation '87 Tii Ecu -> '88 Tii???

I just did the TII swap. The engine and harness are from an '88. I'm using the ECU from an '87 (N332). My car gets 15mpg on the highway when I'm babying it. Does anyone know if the ECU might be the problem. The car has a high flow cat and the exhaust still smell like gas..

Thanks,

Mike

it could be the problem, but you are using the right one.
87 (n332) and 88 (n333) will interchange with each other

I had a brilliant idea of checking the harness from the connectors back to the ECU. I found that the o2 sensor had a broken wire in the harness. Got it soldered up..no more exhaust smell. We'll see what the mileage does.
