Ok im new to this forum so first i wanna say hello to everyone. Now on to my problem, i have been lookin for a new car so i found a 86 turbo, its a 13b and has a air research turbo, but it doesnt run the owner says one day it started to sputter and now won't start. From the search function i have gathered it is either a fuel problem or blown apex seal. So just how hard would it be to fix this motor? by the way i havent bought the car yet and the asking price is $600, so does this sound like a desent deal to you guys?

A true 1986 Turbo II us very rare in the U.S.
The Turbo II wasn't officially imported into the U.S. until 1987.
I've seen two real 1986 Turbo II's - "G" code VIN.

Can you check your VIN?

If it's not JM1FC33*2*...it's a fake.
