86 RX7 13b to 13bTT Engin SWAP help

I have an 86 RX7 GXL with a 13b. I just bought a 13BTTRE but when I called around to get prices for install no one wants to. They said the wireing harness would cost too much money to do. I have no idea what to do now I need help. What is required for this SWAP???

You can do the swap with TII electronic (ecu, harness, mass air flow, etc). The engine will run good with it but you wont have the twin sequentiel working. Theyll be non sequentiel.

This website will help you a lot: http://fc3spro.com/TECH/SWAP/COSMO/13b-re.html

Ill can help you a bit too. Im currently doing this swap into my FC.

If youre using a TII ecu, the cpu will think there is only one turbo. On a TII car turbo is hiting around 3000rpm i think. So on youre 13B-RE the 2 turbos will hit at around 3000rpm. Usualy on a twin sequentiel, the 1st turbo hits between 1000 and 2000rpm and the 2nd one at 3800rpm. (Im not sure of the exact rpm but you get the idea). You wont have less HP but a bigger turbo lag. I have done the swap with 5000$ but i had the engine and tranny for cheap (2000$), i had to buy a front mount intercooler (1000$), youll need custom engine mounts (300$), and other stuff like radiator, fuel pump, custom exausth, etc.

Get rid of the motor to some FD owner who needs it.

Get a 13BT that is easier to swap and costs less money.

You're in over your head unless you can weld a custom crossmember to handle the 13B-REW engine mounts.

BTW, that link goes to the 13B-RE Cosmo swap.
I do have a page that's dedicated to the 13B-REW swap on my website.

Well i thought he was swaping a RE engine, not a REW. He told he was swaping a 13BttRE :s. I thought it was a cosmo. Well actually Ted is right, a TII swap is probably the best and easiest thing to do and for sure the cheapest.

Oops, sorry about that!
My bad...
I guess with all those 13B-REW questions popping up in the FC section, my mind was still stuck on that swap.

You're probably right.
Thanx for the correction!
