83 rx7 carb problem

I got a 1983 rx7 it was sitting for 5 years got it home change the gas tank got a carb from someone in this forum stating it was rebuilt (LOL) change plugs, wires, dist cap, rotor, fuel pump, and fuel filter. The gas on the float bowls were about half full and the car started but would not idle after the choke whet of.
The car at this time don't start ,it turns but the car floods to the point that when i take the plugs out they drip and the float bowls is full. NEED HELP WHAT SHOULD BE MY NEXT STEP.

Turn on key so fuel pump turns on. Look into carb and see if fuel is dripping/pissing into intake. If it is, the your needles are sticking. This is common with a rebuilt carb. Its also common with a carb full of BS. Tap lightly on top of carb to unstick needles. you may need to do this multiple times before the needles break into the seats.

If fuel is not dripping into intake when engine not on, start engine (after deflooding correctly, do a search for this) and see if it is a fine mist (proper) or a mist with occasional drips (improper). May just be some dirt/crud stuck inside somewhere causing a problem. Check this stuff and report back.

OK when i turn the key on there in no gas coming out i can tell the float bowl is full of gas.
