4.1 gears in an auto tranny?

I was told that you could put 4.1 gears in an automatic transmission and it would help major in the low end. These 4.1 gears are stock in the manual transmissions right? Has anyone done this swap or heard of it being done before? And if I can, will they swap directly out with the ones that I've got now? Any input helps.Thanks. (it's a 93 touring )

your best bet would be to search the 3 gen section, or repost your question there. Seems to me the ring gear should bolt in the same. But the input shaft on the diff might be differant like in the 2nd gen.
