does anybody know what it would take to run a 3000gt intercooler in a t2. is there anybody who used this that could show there layouts in tubing and frame work.

Please, stop trying to steal OEM IC's from other cars and slap them on.
If you can't afford a proper FMIC, keep the stock one you got now.
It's not worth the effort for the gains.

thats the thing my stocker was stolen and i need another and tho its still another stocker intercooler i would like to get rid of the heat soak the stock t2 leaves u with

 

I heard that a porsche or a volvo intercooler works. There is so custom work that has to be done. Talk to banzai about that one though.

 

Use the NPR intercooler from the Isuzu diesel trucks. They go on ebay every so often and can be piped to create a front mount from junk yard pulling. They offer substantial gains.

 

eBay has lots of stock ones for sale around $50.
I've never heard of anyone blowing up their engine due to heat soak of the stock top-mount IC.
I've run up to 14psi of boost on my car with no ill effects.
If you insist on having a front-mount, why not move the stock one to the front/
Stock IC too small?
Try doing a keyword search for "intercooler" eBay and take your pick.
