Question 2nd gen gxl wont stay runnig

help a rotary bother my other 2nd gen wont stay running when trying to start it bake fire alot and i have floor the pedal then when it does start it revs high really high like 7 or 8 grand then sticks for a few seconds then shuts off imedietly after the exhust and intake been moded all the emissions have been discarded it also has the double belted pullys i changed the mass air flow and nothing and the sensor next to the throttle pully that open or releases when throttle opens and nothig what the hell can it be somone please help!
