Hey guys,
I'm upgrading the intake on my 1991 ford escort GT, and I need a new air sensor on the intake tube because the stock one (vane air flow) kinda stinks.

As you may already know, my ford is really more of a mazda , and it has the 1.8L mazda BP DOHC engine in it.

I wanted to know if the second gen rx-7 intake air sensor would "plug and play" into my 1.8L mazda bp setup.

I have been told that the first gen air sensor works with my engine, but I haven't been told anything about the 2nd gen sensor, but it's the only sensor I can find. I have the stock ECU that came with my car.
