Anything is possible with the right amount of money. I wouldn't bother pursuing this if you can't do it yourself.

That's the problem there is no real information from those that have done this conversion. I have wanted to do this for an exo car but am afraid I would be spending more time engineering the drive train than I would the chassis.

yes there is no info that i know of.
but the deal is u need to do some homework and start by measuring which rotary engine u want with all its stuff on and see if it will fit in the engine bay with the fwd tranny u have . i mean if a 13b fits in a civic a 13b should fit ur bj but thats y you pre measure.

then theres the matter of the tranny there will be a spacer/adapter plate needed then also the input shaft may need modding to fit the pilot bearing. i personelly could not do this stuff as i dont have machine tools at hand.at this point this will probaly be the most costly part.

like my honda accord it has mounting points in the middle front and back then vibration mounts side to side so its no like rwd where u have front then rear mounts. again if you have a welder your set otherwise that can get expensive.or if u have freinds that take beer payment what i usally do

the most intense part will be making sure the engines placed correct for the drive axels.

everything else is easey. but then again thres all the clearance issues.

hope that helps

cheers

This is a brilliant idea, do you want to collaborate The project

G'day brother yeah I thought this would be a great project to do myself I'm a broke *** f*** her I got no money that I've done a bit of research on it if you're really interested in you got funding I love to collaborate with you there get this done I worked out the CV shaft clearances the arm adaptor play for the gearbox and I think you need to mod the exhaust to clear the engine mounting something or drive shaft but if you really really interested brother let me know
