1988 fc rx7 what to do first

just got a fc(88) , and was wondering what should be the first thing i should do to ensure it is gonna be running good?

Look into your wallet..heh,heh..and see if you can afford it!

Seriously though( I have to have fun sometimes when I answer),a Good tune up with Oil/filter,Spark plugs wires,Gas Filter,check all rubber based hoses,flush the cooling system and replace with good new coolant and replace the Thermostat.
Check all the suspension parts(bushings,springs,shocks)
check and replace any brake components like pads,hoses,fluid..do the clutch hydraulics(fluid tends to go crappy)..

Check your wallet again..lol!
