Fc spark issues

Ok people, I have an 88 fc vert that is having spark issues. First a little back story. I got this fc in a trade. It was t2 swapped by a previous owner. The guy I got it from wanted the t2 son he pulled it out and put his n/a 6 port( that was in his daily) into it. I got it with the engine just sitting in the bay. Had to hook up the harness and get a battery or so I thought. Now the issue I am having is after setting the timing I am only getting spark on one face of the front rotor. The cas will turn about three times between sparks and the leading coils are firing at the same time. Don't know if that is supposed to happen. It has fuel and compression but can't get it to start. Also none of the gauges work. We tried pull starting it but nothing happened. All the warning lights are on and never go out. Any help will be appreciated.

Both leading plugs are supposed to fire at the same time.

You say you are trying to set the timing.Did you get it to RUN?

No I haven't. It's only firing on one side of the rotor. Basically right were it's supposed to but not on all the faces. The cas will spin almost 1 1/2 times between sparks.

well you can't rightfully set the timing if the engine is not running.
Your CAS may not be sending signal to the ECU.
I have come across other threads similar to this so you may want to search some threads along that lines..NO Signal from CAS.
