13b rotor housing condition?

Hello All!

I'm rebuilding my FC (detailed in this thread) and the problem I'm having right now is that I"m not sure about how to judge the condition of my housings, due to complete inexperience.

I've already determined that both my end irons are bad (due to broken water seals), center housing will be ok after lapping, one of my rotors is fine and the other is toast due to apex seal failure. My only question is about the rotor housings. They have some moderate scratching, which I have a sample picture below. They also have some 'chatter' wear patterns on the edges.

Is this something that can be sanded out? I'm wary about messing with my rotor housings too much, because they seem to be pretty critical to getting good compression figures. On the other hand, I don't want to spend $3-500 (plus shipping to Alaska) if they are salvageable. What do you guys think? I can post better pictures and answer any questions if you guys need more clarity. Thanks!

edit: the 'chatter marks' are about the depth of a fingernail's thickness.

Im sure it would run but would'nt make the greatest compression. I personally would not use it. It might be worth a try to send it in to get reconditioned.

I'm convinced. I'm not going to say I'm happy to hear it, but it's way better knowing for sure that they're no good than just guessing one way or another. I'll likely order 'above-average' condition housings from rotary resurrection.
