12a and 13b?

Are the side housing from a 13b interchangable with the side housings from a 12a?
Thanks for any info.

If the 13B is 85 or older the side housings should swap. If the 13B is 86+ then the water seals will be in the side housings and the 12A water seals are in the rotor housing. This means either you will have 2 water seals meshed together, or one water seal trying to fill in 2 grooves. Either way, it won't work.

As always, if I am wrong, someone will dispute my claims....
