My local shop Rotorsport was kind enough to just give me blue silicone hosing that was laying around when I went in to get a manifold gasket. Great guys! Wasn't really planning on making things look fancy but I guess that's what gonna happen! Going to be Replacing all the hoses because obviously it was all damaged in the engine fire.

My friend dropped by and gave me this bucket seat for helping him out earlier with his FC. Very kind of him. I was able to put this in using a combination of side mounts I had used with my previous one and directly bolt to stock sliders and this actually sits slightly lower then stock seats, which already have a very nice seating position in my opinion.

My friend is helping out solder the engine harness while I do other work with the vacuum lines and fuel system. You can really see the charring from the fire on the bulk head and the wheel wells.

Getting close to finishing, making use of the down time to sandblast then paint pulleys and other stuff. Really making things pop out now.

FINISHED! Took about 4 days to do. very pleased witht eh results. Still need to clean up more of the soot and what not that remains on the paint but most of it in the wheel wells has been cleaned.

First turn of the key and she roared back to life as if nothing happened! Actually runs much better and even smoother then ever. Probably because vacuum leaks are a thing of the past now.

So a bit of background. I got my S4 FC in highschool to be different from everyone else who either got riced out civics or had parent sponsored Scoobies, Evos, and Supras. And it worked for a while. But as time passed I realized my 7 was nice but not amazing or a head turner in anyway. Which made me remember Amemiya's FC2000. So after a 2013 Benz kissed my 7's ass I got the money I needed for the kit of my dreams!

These boxes are HUGE. Inspected everything and the kit was safe and sound. Only small scuffs and hair line cracks in the primer.

I wanted a duraflex bumper because I needed the STRONGEST bumper. Knowing that I would be tracking and auto crossing the 7 alot more afterwards.

ITS ARRIVED! Arrived in about three days, shipped from Nevada to to the Silicon Valley. Cool thing was the company I ordered from shipped it directly from Nevada so that I could avoid paying CA sales tax. When sales tax is about 9% it saved me hundreds.

So after chiseling off the rear bumper I placed it next to the new one and you can see the difference in size instantly. The old bumper was the S4 bumper with another Aftermarket bumper MOLDED ON TOP OF IT! Dunno why it was done like that but I sure will be doing it differently.

Decided to work on the rear first because I new there there was more to be done like chiseling off the MOLDED 10mm flares and rear bumper.

SOOOOOO~ this car was never hit but it sure was owned by an idiot at one point. This section of the car behind the rear wheel was lowered onto a Jackstand. Crumpling it upwards. You can see the bottom middle that was pushed up with the arch shaped creases where it folded above.

Transferring over the OE bumper mounts. At first there was concern about the mounting flaps not having enough material to have complete holes but it was fine in the end.
