wic and my car

Greg, my car is sooooo close to being done!!! unfortunately my and my previous landlord got into and i was forced to moved my whole ******* shop ...in three weeks!!! so last month i spent most of my time and money moving in to the new shop. the car is at Madman's getting the final prep done: Jerry Bickle wheelie bars, door handles, parachute mount and suspension scaling. all i have left to do when i get it back to my shop is figure out how to get the starter to fit, and some minor wiring. i bought an rotary to chevy adapter but there is no where/way to mount the starter. anybody out there running a chevy tranny and have some pics of how they got the starter to work? i already started the motor on my engine breaker inner so it is ready to go. i plan on going to Fl April 13 if it runs like it is supposed to.

The 1st gen is a buddy of mine! His name is Juan and the car is powered by a 12A bridge ported turbo motor. The car runs consistent 10.40's at 132mph without nitrous! Best time has been a 10.30! The sweet thing is that it does that with only 20psi of boost!
The corolla is brand new and have never ran before.
Hey Marcus any times from the 1st or 2nd round of qualifying?

well first of all THERE IS NO ******* BODY HERE!!!! only one pro car the Venom trunck (easy money) and three outlaw cars and they are all FF hondas!! steph is haveing some serious tranny issues and could only muster up an 8.40, the other honda's were slower than the quick class cars with a best of 9.50. even the quick class only had about 6 cars, the Venom civic layed down a 9.12 @ 157 mph!!! it was screaming, #2 was Jotech with a 9.25 @150. i should have bought my car out and 'bobsled'd' it down the track , i probably would have gotten something! i wonder what happened nobody is here what a waste! Oh Yeah i got food poisoning and have been throwing up through both ends since 5:00 yesterday!!

forgot to mention about the Rotorheads...sorry! Steve Kan popped a motor in his first round, seems that he had trieda a manual BC on the dyno and when he got in third gear it spike over 30 psi and let go!! he still qualified number one with a 10.80 coasting across the line! Ari was having his typical bad starts but still ran a 9.83, that ******* car flies!! if he could get it to leave (maybe he will today) he will run a low nine...possibly and eight but there was a serious head wind yesterday of about 20 mph avg. Steve took his motor apart in the pits and replaced three apex seals in the back rotor put it back together in about 5 hours! so he should be back on course for today. way to hustle Steve

I should have gone then! Easy money!
Nah! I love competition! No sence calling yourself a World Import Champion if you had no competition!
The poor turnout probably have something to do with what happenned the last time. The officials used the storm as an excuse to cancel the race although it was stated in their rules " Every racer must be prepared to stay extra days in case of rain etc."
They had no consideration for the racers that travelled a long way to get there even one that I know of that came from Japan to race that weekend!
No wonder why the Pro racers call it "The World Scammed Challenge!"

Well for the 2nd gen guys......
*there was a black TII with big turbo and a trick Jaytech intake with 6 injectors......claims to be fast but was a show car...go figure
*then there was a race 2nd gen in the pits with an oldschool cartech turbo manifold and a to4 e or b could not tell it sat so low i thought it was part of the suspension oh and the intercooler piping went through the firewall ...i believe it was under dash possible sealed........he claimes he runs 11.2's with the stock airflow meter...he said he ran on sat and cracked the front housing...which i never saw
*Ari ran still having trouble out of the hole but beat the 2nd gen supra from Cali i believ he made a 10 .2 pass
*Steve Kan ran beat the 3rd gen supra did a 10.4 pass man his antilag setup is sweet.......
Jotech beat venom
Girls were around as usual...should have pics up soon
******THE EVENT WAS VERY DISAPPOINTING******
the scenario was go watch the rx-7's run then go back to booth and have a couple of beers....
