Car go Bye BYe

Well ladies and gents in SoCali my car got jacked yesterday 2/15/02!!!!!!!!!! I have insurance but i know they are gonna fight all the parts i have on my car.

Please keep on the look out for Rx-7 parts for sale. I've already called everyone I know that has shady connections to find there *******. Gonna ge real hard for them to move my parts in LA.

It was stolen near the Warner Brothers lot between 230 and 700 in th evening. Went in to work on one of the stages came out and car was gone. So much for the 3 alarms!

KnightSports-(all real) Hood, Type IV bumper, Type I sides, Dual Flap aluminum wing, Side View Mirrors, Pulley kit. Good thing my other type IV kit and flares were still in the paint shop.

HKS- Type S intercooler, Hiper Damper Max II, EVC IV, AIC III w/ elbow, Gauges boost, water, egt, Twin Power, FPR, Sway bars (purple only two sets in US), Ti CF exhaust,

XS Engineering- To4S kit

Apex'I- Power FC

Volk Racing- GTC 18x8 18x10 with Toyo T1S 235/50/18 265/35/18

Bunch or other crap bu who cares too hard to find

**** happends i know especially with daily driver that is fixed up that much so stiil in shock. I would rather the car disappear and me find out who did it so I can have my friends make them dissapear. Sometimes it's good to have friends in LOW places.

man....that is complete bullshit, I know you love that car. *shaking head*

Sounds like they were casing your car for a while if they were able to get by 3 alarms...*******

I know some people as well, I'll try my best to see if they can find any info out about your car, or the thieves

I keep an ear to the ground up here in Norcal Chris. Sorry to hear this **** man.

They'll take it to Mexico and trade it for some ****** probably. Either that, or they killed themselves cause they thought they were getting into a Civic or someshit and later realized it was a beast.

Sorry, Rishie

man, i don't even know what to say cause it's impossible to put your loss into words. that car is truly one of the cleanest fds i've ever seen... hopefully they can recover the car with most of your stuff intact. it'll be real hard for whoever stole it to move those parts tho since they're so unique to your car. if i hear anything about any of those parts for sale, of course you'll be the first to know. man, that sucks...

Sorry to hear about your car. I moved from Cali 3 years ago But, My sister goes to the stages all the time. I was thinking maybe (not knowing where you parked, you said near the WB set) maybe? you could see if anyone in the lot where you parked or off a side street has a survailance camera! it's a long shot but, worth a try? You might recognize the ********?
I think this forum should make some kind of an announcemnet to ALL the forum sections when this happens. 1st, 2nd, 3rd Gen. It got my attention, but other Gen. could help him out. It might help for a quicker recovery...Just an idea! If I still lived in the States, I would be grateful to have as many people as possible keeping a look out for my car or parts. Hope your bad news turns for the better.
Oliver

It pisses me off so much to hear about this ****. I don't see where people get off thinking they can take what others had to work hard for. Glad I live in Wisconsin, that **** isn't as big here.

I had a Saturn company car stolen in NJ. NJ and LA are just two big car theft heaven. SF seems to be pretty darn safe.

Sorry to hear that. I hope you've got receipts and pix of your parts. Maybe lojack would work out better than alarm.

Angry I know the feeling

I had my CRX stolen the same day all the mods were done. I lost $8,000. The bullS(@$($& insurance eventually reinbursed me only $4k.

You need all your receipts. Even if they give you crap about aftermarket not being covered, parts need to be replaced and even stock parts can cost alot.

Unfortuantely, alarms are a false sense of security. The police will do "nothing" to find it. I searched for my car every day, posted flyers in the donut shops. One cop asked me why I cared when the insurance would pay. I worked on the car myself. What a butt munch.

Anyhow, start getting all the receipts and pictures you can. Try recycler but parts will probably either go by word of mouth or the *** wipes have 7's themselves.

After mine was stolen, I installed teletrac. They are expense so LoJack is a good alternative.

Yea SUCKS ***! I have almost everyone i know who deals in "used" parts lookin out for my stuff. There are a lot of tell tail marks on all my stuff so if i ever see my stuff at a car show it's *** kicking time.

I don't think my car was followed this was the first time in months that I worked at the WB lot. I just think it was a random theft but a damn goos one.

I give those guys credit took alot of ***** to steal my car surprised they didn't get pulled over for exhaust while trying to drive it away.

We'll see how bad my insurance company will try to **** me on the parts. You know how hard it's gonna be to find another white FD. I still have another complete KnightSports kit waiting to be installed at the shop ****!

Well thanks for the support guys. The only good thing is if i do have to build another FD I learned a lot from my first one and won't make the same mistakes.

I hope they DO catch the *******. I swear I will make their life a living hell.

Good luck in finding it and good luck in getting a replacement if you have to.
