Please keep on the look out for Rx-7 parts for sale. I've already called everyone I know that has shady connections to find there *******. Gonna ge real hard for them to move my parts in LA.

It was stolen near the Warner Brothers lot between 230 and 700 in th evening. Went in to work on one of the stages came out and car was gone. So much for the 3 alarms!

KnightSports-(all real) Hood, Type IV bumper, Type I sides, Dual Flap aluminum wing, Side View Mirrors, Pulley kit. Good thing my other type IV kit and flares were still in the paint shop.

HKS- Type S intercooler, Hiper Damper Max II, EVC IV, AIC III w/ elbow, Gauges boost, water, egt, Twin Power, FPR, Sway bars (purple only two sets in US), Ti CF exhaust,

XS Engineering- To4S kit

Apex'I- Power FC

Volk Racing- GTC 18x8 18x10 with Toyo T1S 235/50/18 265/35/18

Bunch or other crap bu who cares too hard to find

**** happends i know especially with daily driver that is fixed up that much so stiil in shock. I would rather the car disappear and me find out who did it so I can have my friends make them dissapear. Sometimes it's good to have friends in LOW places.
You have lots of goodies there, and they know the value of it. Sorry to hear about that bro, I bet it sucks but you know doesn't matter how much and how good your alarm is it wouldn't do any good and if they eye on your car, they will take it no matter what. Damm it sucks to have a nice car nowaday. Hope you will recover it and good luck. **** after hearing horror stories of people losing there FD now it makes me
loves my car even more and wondering will this ever happen to me. But you know the car goes where I goes and that is why I always have my little brother stays in a lookout for my car whenever it is park.

Hey Chris

I heard the news on Saturday morning at the Mackin booth from Lee. That sucks! I was in shock. I knew it was your daily driver, but I don't trust driving a rare/expensive car to the studios...guess this proves my thoughts.

I know a couple of people who work on the WB lot (as well as the other studios) all the time. I'll ask them to see if they know/seen anything. Your car is definitely an easy to spot car so I'm sure someone saw something, but didn't realize it. There are NOT that many white FDs in LA so if they are gonna sell the body panels on the car...chances are better as opposed to a red FD. As for the parts, PM me a list of the parts OR post for everyone to see here and we'll keep an eye out.

I know of at least one place in Long Beach that may be a potential chop shop. The reason being is that when I was looking for spare/replacement parts for my friends car, this one place had body panels, bumpers, headlights, etc. that were relatively new. There were NO old parts there. Every part was relatively clean and this "lot" was filled w/ parts. My estimate was that the parts were no more than 5-6 years old. Not only that, but the parts were somewhat clean. I'll have to drop by there again to see if that place is still there.

Chris, it's time to pay a visit to ALL the local junkyards/scrap places in LA ASAP.

Seems to me that whoever took your car was a professional. I'll make some calls to some buddies to keep an eye out.

I listed most of my major mods on the original post. Forgot to list KnightSports headlight kit, and HKS Racing BOV type II.

I almost don't care now but if I ever see ANY of my parts on someone's car I will **** that car up bad. There are a lot of small distinguishing features about all my parts so trust me I'll be looking at every FD out there.

Especially the hood, wing and rims. Those are easy for me to identify and if anyone claims them as theirs I know Mackin and I know the guys at KnightSports it's not hard for me to verify someone's story.

I wanna find someone with my rims. There are only a few GTC in the US right now, even less for the FD and if anyone says they bought it from any shop I can verify from Mackin what shops got GTC and what fitment and sizes. Someone has to be stupid as **** to try to run those rims now especially with the connections i have.

Damn, man that sucks! Nothing I can say or do, to make it any better. May want to keep an eye on ebay too, just in case who ever stole it is dumb enough to post your stuff there. I really hope you find who did it, I myself would like to have a few minutes alone with the person that did this. BASTARDS!!!!

In a way, I almost feel like my karma is responsible for this. Like the day that this happened, I was just thinking to myself, "Man some of those guys on the RX-7 forum post about everything that happens or is done to their car. But, one thing that I've never read is about someone's car getting stolen. I guess this is a good thing!"

So, in a way, it's my fault, Chris!

But seriously, like I said before it really sounds like someone you know either performed it or set it up. Like Nameless said and I meant to more clearly allude to, it seems like they had a key. I know your car gets around, so maybe you should be thinking about people who you know who would've had any access to a spare key or the access/ability to copy your key. And I know that you mentioned that you don't work regular times or jobs, but that someone could've followed you in an indistinguished car that you never would've noticed. It might even be someone from where you live? Maybe someone got a key cut by the VIN code? I'm not trying to be paranoid, I'm just trying to help you with possibilities since it seems like such a clean job. Best luck!

DAMN YOU DK it was YOU! ahah Thanks for the input and yea kinda sucks how there are so many ways to get a car. I already know what i'm gonna do with my next car or if i get mine back. Super security!!!!!!!! Gonna hire one of my Samoan friends to kick it in the passenger seat.

Right now most of my friends think it was random. I have such an akward schedual and usually i'm parked on studio lots that you have to follow me alot and almost every day to see if there is a chance to steal the car. It's really hard to find me......ask my GF.

Check out that, and also check out recycler periodically because a lot of people post in those free ads with stolen cars.

I'm really hoping not in the condition Brad Barbers' did...

Whatever happened about that anyway.

What condition did it show up in afterall??
The story went that it was a guy that would frequent the texas rx-7 meets and knew Brad's car but didn't have a 7 himself. He was a narc for the police that was once (and still was obviously) into criminal activity. By the time Brad found his car a few weeks later everything was taken off the car and sold, and if you knew Brad's car it was absolutely perfect.

He had a picture of it on his website after it was recovered, and the engine, wheels, body panels, wing, interior, upgrades, anything worth selling was gone, it was just a shell with some wires hanging out. Made me sick.

Brad cursed himself on the big email list I remember because he had that nice website detailing everything he had done to his car and even pictures of where the battery was behind the seat, and he's not been as trustful or as big a part of the rx-7 group scene since, and understandably so seeing that it was a scumbag that had been scoping out the car on his website and at the rx-7 meets in person...

His website is still up, but now it just shows a picture of what I believe is the replacement, it's JVOB's old rx-7, which is a great replacement.

Actually from the way I remember it, the guy did have an RX-7, and stole the car to get some stuff for his car. The police wouldn't do anything because he was an informant. I remember someone saying that they should make him give Brad his car to make up some for it since they wouldnt arrest him. Ugh, it just makes me sick. RotaryKnight, good luck with the car, I hope it all works out.

Sorry to hear about your car Chris I was wondering how it would've got stolen with the kill button....you didn't have it under your dash did you? That's the first place I would look....then the center console. I know how it feels to have someone f*ck with your baby I hope they find the bastards! I'll put the word out around here....alot of stuff from LA seems to come here lately. I'll be the 1st one to hear if there's RX7 parts....if so, then I'll let you know.

Isn't there something that you can do with the PFC to disable the car when you leave it? Just another way to slow them down.

FD's are hard to steal and hard to market.....this person must have East Coast plans. West Coast is too hard to market specialty parts like Rotaryknights.
