Thumbs up

Holy **** that IC is big! Looks very cool... I can't wait to see how it performs on the 7. Glad to see someone is trying twins on the 13b-REW. When do you plan on having it up and running?

Very cool! I hope it works out well for you.

You BASTAR*! j/k

I really wanted those from Jesse!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THEY WERE MINE!

(except the wife wouldn't let me buy them )

Oh well, good luck. You will have a sweet setup with the engine you're having built. Please let me know how much the rebuild on the turbos will be.

Oh, and if you could, when you get the turbos and IC, could you take some close-ups of the the exhaust manifold, piping, downpipe, and IC. My dad and I may be able to build the necessary piping for a similar setup.

Thanks,

Cool

Very sweet setup, let me know how that turns out. I'm a year away from engine work I'm still working on body parts. If you dyno that package let the whole world know (I'm mean the forum members)Congratulations.

OMG that looks evil!

Hey if I were you, I'd get the exhaust manifold Jet-hot coated. www.jet-hot.com It's better than a ceramic coating, and will also make the exhaust manifold look a LOT better!

That is what I like to see, people getting bloody serious. That setup has insance potential. If I did that though, I woudl have to figure a way to run them sequential, lol.

cheers, and keep us posted

Running them sequential would require some VERY constructive plumbing. You would have to have both tubes coming from each turbo join somewhere before they reach the turbos. Then have a pressure actuated flap just before one of the turbos to close off any exhaust so that it all goes to the 1st turbo, and another flap to prevent boost from the 1st turbo to mix in with the 2nd turbo, and ANOTHER flap to vent that boost from the 2nd turbo to air while it prespools, and have the flap programmed not to open up all the way till a certain RPM...............oh man. It hurts just thinking about this :p

the guy that i bought this from said he was running 15 psi. and was doing around 500 at the rear wheels( im not sure if this is true)....but he said he never really thought about maxin them out..he wasnt much into racing from what he says....so he made his car a NA RX-7...so im not sure what this set up will do at its max performance..but im sure as hell gonna try to push them =)..

Damn that's nice. I'm guessing it'll be non-sequential. That's weird how the intake side of the IC has 2 pipes.

How would having two seperate pipes going to the intercooler affect performance? All the ones I've seen join before the intercooler. Wouldn't this be like having two smaller intercoolers?

You could run an APEX'i PFC or the new AEM, should be easy with either... Just make sure you're running plenty of fuel with some BIG-*** injectors and you'll still be setting the ECU up like you're running a big single and there you go...

I'd be guessing you'd go with some maps similar to a GReddy T78 or 88 setup and dyno tune it form there starting with moderate boost.
