I voted for Sat after teh banquet.. but I would be down for just about any day except maybe not Friday night..

Well, there isnt much going on sunday, so I say sunday lunch or sunday evening. I plan to be inebriated after the banquet anyways...

i agree. some of us might not be around friday night (especially the ones who live in la), and saturday we'll either be checking out cool **** or getting shitfaced. sunday sounds like the best - when everything's calmed down and everyone's hung over. ;P

I don't see why other rotary enthusiasts (like FD or RX-8 owners) aren't included in this. Why are you guys making this "seem" like a strictly FC gathering?

 

I would like to do Saturday if possible. I am going back down to San Diego Sat. night (staying with in-laws), then driving back to bay area Sun afternoon.

I am thinking the same thing. My folks live in SD and I live in the SF North Bay.

 

DomFD3S: You know I have love for the FD’s of course you are invited, please come and hang. But how many "rotary" get to gathers have you been to and there are 5-10 FD's and 1-2 FC's? This seems to be the general standard when it comes to shows/meets. I started this in the hops of getting more than your average couple of FC's together.

Well as the poll goes we have:

- 3 for the day of SS6
- 3 for the night after SS6
- 8 for Sunday.

I do have to agree with everyone that the night after the SS banquet will probably not be the best.

Personally I would love to have it during the SS6 event cause we are all going to be there, we can take a big group picture in front of the event, and our cars are already shiny and ready to show off.

Keep them ideas coming.

i voted for fri nite, but i guess saturday would work for me too... but i have to get back to work on saturday afternoon, and have work all day on sunday so.......... yeah...

 

I am down for sat. night, i'll be over at the embasyy suites (free happy hour).

 

planning an fc meetup is no less antisocial than having our own generation-specific section on the forum. that said, i'm sure all 7 and 8 owners are welcome to drop by. we won't have a secret knock.

what does everyone think about a meetup on saturday afternoon and sunday for lunch? saturday we can have a group shot at the event, while sunday we can actually sit down and talk.

 

Yeah that will probably work.

I don't know if I will be driving my Tacoma or the 'vert (the 'vert is in the middle of an engine/ drive train swap- going back to N/A. I just got a VDI intake and newly matched S4 LIM back from Extrude honeing, so hopefully next week I'll have it all installed).

oh crap is it that time of year already? when is sevenstock? I live in LA so im going to see if I can get the girls from HOOTERS to make an appearance(I do the promo photography for the LA scene). they love to drink so count me in for the after party. Do you think the Mazda guys will let my band play the event?
