Yes, stock turbos for now. I need to buy a house before I go single plus a port/rebuild motor. The one oil cooler is on a oil thermostat, the other is used full time.

sunday I will finish the fuel system, and start the fun project of wiring the ECU. I did notice when I had the car jacked up today that the tie rod does come in contact with the swaybar when the strut/spring are at full extent and the wheel is turn all the way. Not too bad though. I'm going to fab up a couple 1/2" spacers to drop the swaybar about the same height at the bottom of the rack.

Wish me luck.

Hey Jered,
Looks like the pipes dropped right in. Looking good so far. BTW, What ECU are you going to run?

I modified the greddy FD elbow to fit the 20b T-body.
I'm going to try to use my AEM. I've talked a few times w/ AEM and they assure me I can use Split timing. I had the AEM from my 2 rotor and have Modified the base map for the additional injectors/plugs required. We will find out soon if it works.

Thanks for the info. One of my friends just ordered the GReddy 3-row kit, so I may need to take a look at his elbow and see if it will work for mine. I wonder if GReddy will sell just the elbow? Anyway, it should be cheaper than getting one custom made.

Be careful with that AEM. The last time I talked to those guys they thought that their EMS could run split timing on a 3-rotor with 180deg ignition like a 2-rotor, which would blow up a 3-rotor because it actually has 120deg ignition requirements due to the different rotor phasing. They later covered by saying that one of the aux outputs could be reconfigured as an ignition lead, giving them the 6 total ignition outputs required to run a 3-rotor with split timing. Their software would need to support this, also, and I never got word on whether it will or not. If they did not add this capability to their EMS, you can always use the 6-cylinder configuration and run the 3-rotor with simultaneous timing. I am very interested to see how that AEM EMS works on a 3-rotor. Just a thought, but since AEM decided not to produce their universal "Race" harness, is it going to be a pain to get the FD wiring to work with the 20B? Also on that note, can you reconfigure the EMS as appropriate, or do they lock you out of some of the functions based on the vehicle make and model?

They added the option to use Injector10 as a coil6. You can configure which tooth to fire each ignition channel. I am using the FD harness. The additional Coil and Injector channels were used for many of the solinoids for the sequential turbos etc.. . I just set them up for coil/inj use instead of switches I've allready disassembled the harness and started laying it out. I'm also going to use LS1 nippon denso coils with the integrated ignighters. Many of the supra guys have switced to these and are having great success, even upto 800+WHP. Whats nice about them you get a coil with a internal ignighter for $37 ea shipped from GMPARTSDIRECT.COM .

The Greddy elbow is avail by itself at the rx7store and other greddy dealers.

I didn't make much progress today other than mounting the coils and making the swaybar spacers. I was busy with the family. Oh well there is allways tommorow.

Well the project had to be put on hold again I was shipped back out to NJ for a few weeks. ARGG!! I thought i was don with that place.
Anyways not much left to do, just need to wire up the coils, fill the fluids, charge the A/C, then I hope she'll fire up.

to be continued...

I've got about 15k into it the past year. That is everything, from a completely stock car. I could have done it cheaper but i like doing things only once. I'll put together a price list once it is complete.

Hey Jered,
He is right the 20B runs in a 120 degree position vs. the 180 degree of the 13B. I would be very leary at this point unless I had some proof from AEM that it will run all 6 coils with split timing @ 120' . You have done everything right so far, so why guess about something as important as Running the MOTOR right!!!! If you can't get anyone to talk to you about it then it won't work and they don't want to tell you that! I know that the MicroTech LTX-12 runs my street-ported 20B just fine.
