Cusco coilover adjustment

im looking to raise the rear of my car about half an inch so my new 18's fit nicely without rubbing, and i have adjustable cusco coilovers, these came with the car so im at a loss as how to adjust these

is there a way to lock and unlock the bottom two rings or do you literally just turn one then the other with a c-spanner??

here's a pic:

Ryan, lurking on here as well. What are we going to do with you!

Yes the bottom part of the springs are two plates that screw together. Clean up the bottom of the spring area, and you should be able to see that you need to loosen the top adjuster up then bring the bottom up to tighten against it.
