Full Pillar Dual 2 1/16" gauge pod!

Add two 2 1/16" gauges to your 1984 - 1985 RX7!!

The folks over at MazSpeed.com have worked with GaugePods.com to produce GSL-SE full pillar dual gauge pods! These are not the add ons but the entire a-piller replacement. They have already done the hard work with prototyping, etc. Now they just need 10 more confirmed buyers inorder to fulfill the requirement. If you're interested in getting these, order here:

http://www.gaugepods.com/rx7.htm
The second available product is the full pillar.

NOTE: These may fit non -se models, but i don't believe the prototype was test fit on them. Use email below for questions.

When you order email CAG8or HERE. He would like to keep track to find out how close they're getting.

I'll see about posting pictures soon.

$45.00? thast a little high, but if they come in the same color as my interior (blue/grey) count me in. i was going to fab something up under my stereo, but a pillar pod would be back ***.

I just used a duel pod for a 86-88 rx7 fits better on my 83 piller than a buddys 88t2. I used a heat gun to help mold it though

I have an 83 gsl and an 85 gsl-se comparing the two I see no issues making it fit either.

Myself I ordered the gray bor my Tender Met Blue se...

the sooner we get this going the better the price will get

On the same topic:

Has anybody heard of Stewart Warner Gauges
they seem to be upgraded (and properly backlit) Autometer style gauges.

there are autometer gauges that are backlit... will get backt you on that.

I cannot believe that there is no demand for this gauge mount kit. you guys aren't trusting the stock gauges are you? twenty year old sending units make me leary. well I hope someone decides to buy some of these.

I know the Cobalt series are. I already have the Ultra-Lite series. However, I wish they would light up through the numbers as opposed to the perimeter lighting.

That's why I am interested in the Stewart models. They definately are properly backlit, I just don't know if they have a good "brushed aluminum" look like the Ultra-Lites to match my dash.

Thumbs up Finally something cool for an FB!

I need some more info, most likely count me in. I'm kind of new to this group order concept. I'm in the market for one right now and a good fit up is highly desireable.

So what do they look like? The web site says image not available. I guess its just a dual gauge pod that replaces the entire interior part on the drivers windshield/door frame--right??

Do I have to order it now? Let me know what I have to do. If I order now and they don't get the 10 what happens to my order?

What gauges are you guys putting in? I'm thinking about boost and oil temp.

p.s. that's pretty cool what they do to your mouse pointer on the main page

BTW for all you SCC readers there is a supra with the above a-plliar gauge mounts listed on page 122 and a pic on page 124 of the june issue. With the added visibility they are getting from this they will, THEY WILL, get this moving as well.

ummmm.... whats the differance in the pillar of the 84-85 and all the other 1st gens? why whould they change the pillar? for the different style dash? if the whole pillar is the same except the bottem to fit the dash can we just buy one and cut the bottem add a little dubble sided tape and call it a day?

79-83 have different pillar trim incorporating a side defroster vent. The 84-85 North American model with the newer dash rely on the dash vents blowing onto the windows, so the defroster vent was deleted.

onepointone, glad to hear that you are buying one as well. again this company is getting more publicity in the way of SCC and therefore are less likely to screw us than other smaller no name comanies.

rex4life are you in too?

I'm In

Yea I'm in. Just gotta make sure I order the right color.

So what colors were available for the 84-85 GSL-SE?

I'm showing brown, burgandy and grey from various sources. Is there an OEM black for this year/model? My original window sticker shows off black interior. Gotta decide whether I need grey or OEM black.

I sure hope they match the colors real good.

And DF, I like those Stewart Warner gauges better than the Autolite--thanks for the tip.

Going with the boost/vacuum and A/F for my install.

I'll wait till I see some PICS! Otherwise, aside from the fact that my interior is BROWN, I'm pretty interested.
