What turbo is this? Other questions on setup!?!

This car is from Puerto Rico. I am planning on swapping parts from this car on to my 93 R1. It looks like a "different" setup.

What turbo is this?

Is this an NPR IC?

Why is the BOV in that location?

Shouldn't the BOV have a hose attached?

Thanks in advance.

The BOV is fine in that location. Same thing as mounting it a bit further downstream on the IC piping - no difference.

I would not put one on an IC end tank though. If you want to sell the IC, you pretty much have to sell the BOV with it for many people to be interested. Also the intercooler now will probably only fit for someone else doing the exact same setup, unless they want to modify the end tanks.

There should be a hose on the BOV. I can't see one in the pics, but there needs to be one there.

I'm not sure what kind of turbocharger that is.

Doesn't look like an NPR intercooler to me.

And a close up of the turbo.

Other than a big "T" on the housing there is number of "29790". Mean anything?

Anyone?

So nobody nows about the turbo?

OK, I am sure someone knows about the IC. It has an HKS logo on the piping...but that could have been welded on.

I examined the pics closer,
The core of the IC is possibly the NPR one - the cores look the same, but I don't feel like counting how many lines there are on it :P
The end tanks are much different - either custom made or a different IC altogether.

The guy I bought it from did not know much. He claimed the Turbo was a T-66 and the IC was an NPR....but he could easily be mistaken. He did not realize the fuel lines were leaking badly and the BOV had no hose attached!!!!
