need help quick; something leaking

between 2-3.5k r's there is a high pitched noice coming from my engine. It sounds like a leak and sounds like it's coming from the y-pipe. any common problems this could be?

So what do i have to do? It sounds like its coming from the intake manifold. Can i still drive the car like this or is it bad?

You can still drive with an intake leak but take it easy or you risk overspinning the turbos. It'll also confuse the computer so your mixture may be off, so don't do it long term.

check to see if your bypass valve is cracked or did you dissconnect it fron the air box (it does not act exactly like an aftermarket blowoff valve) they bleed off boost at around 1psi if you hold it there??? I dont know try to be a little more descriptive. (is the noise under boost, You wont have possitve boost without a load on the engine (holding the rpms at 3k while the car is parked) it may be an air pump issue thy disconnecting the grey connector and see if the noise disapears. good luck.

It happens when im parked and when im driving, but when im under the hood reving it you can hear it just about all the time. It sounds like the engine, just louder.
