Exclamation Coils are getting haltech signal, no spark though

Stock T2 leading coil. Tan wire is hooked to haltech ignout (light green. Red wire is switched 12v. Black wire is left loose (was told this was for a silencer type thing to reduce ignition noise and to leave it loose).

We put a timing lighton the ignout wire and when cranking, it flashes like it should. When we put the timing light on the spark plug wire, nothing. Tested the spark plug wires and the have 0.02 resistance on them. Tried grounding a sparkplug and seeing if we get spark... nothing.

At the coil, tested for 12v when switched, that is good. Coils are grounded from the ignitor bracket to the frame.

What am I missing here? I tested 3 different coils, all gave the same results. 1 of the coils is off of my own car that was working perfectly fine 9 months ago (has been on shelf since then) and I bought the other 2 used.

On the haltech engine data page, when cranking, I show 180-200 RPMs. This is our first Haltech install, and we're just stumped. Someone please help us asap, I wanna get this thing on the road this weekend

Thanks,
Nick

are your plugs fouled? the coil has to be able to fire both plugs or you get nothing. my t2 did that when i got it (2 rotor). i know the coils need 12v at the ignitor, much less and it wont fire. you should be able to hook up the timing light and power up the coil, ground the signal wire, i think it should fire.

for what its worth, i'll post it here too

If you look on HITman's installation page, to wire in the leading coil it says:

Haltech Ignition Out (light Green wire) goes to the Leading coil Pink/Red wire while the Tan wire is the 12V switched + feed for the coil.

SWAP THE WIRES OVER!!!!!!!

Sweet man! Thanks... I'm gonna have to swap the wires. Hopefully the coil packs didn't get fried. Hmmmm its weird. Everything I read (except the hitmans page) said to wire them the way that I had them.... but I trust 'ol hitman.

Status report this evening.

Yep, that was the total problem... Firing on all rotors. Zeroed the CAS out, idles at about 1000 right now. Need to work on that, but it should be ok... It will idle fine at 800, but i may need to hook up the BAC to keep it alive that low.
