Unhappy sensor??????

i need to find out the part number or just name of the sensor on the right side of the thermastat housing but not the water level sensor.

If the one you are talking about is green, then it is the water temp thermosensor.

I think your talking about your water temp thermosensor. If so the part # is NF02-18840 it's about $62.

Does this sensor turn the fans on if yes get one to turn the fans on at a lower temp when it is allready out,several different ones will fit and you can pick the start up temp (with in reason).

thanx for all the replys.
found out yesterday it was a sensor for a water temp guage that isnt even connected. was quite pissed when hearing about because the mazda dealership that i bought the car from and that was supposed to have service the car for its first owner gave me all there paper on the car and it never said anything about it. im now going to try and see if they lied about it having a newer motor too.
