Symptoms of mismatched injectors?

Can anyone tell me what would happen if I ran low impedance injectors in a 88 FC? Would it only create risk of ruining the injectors or might it cause other issues like flooding, etc? I ask because I just got my injectors back from KGPARTS and they pointed out to me that 3 of them are low impedance. I'm glad they made note of it because I probably wouldn't have noticed until I went to shave the offset key off and it wasn't there...

Yes... the guy who had this car before me was a moron.

I've had the car for a little over two years now and it seems to run just fine.

Low-imp injectors without resistors will fry the injector drivers in the ECU due to excessive current. They'll have little to no effect on fuel flow.

an you have an 88, wouldnt that make it an S4 and doesnt S4s use low imp injectors stock? Whats the problem? that means the issue is one of your injectors is high-imp and is from an s5?

Not all of them. They were changed to high-impedance midway through the 87 model year.
