FD engine into FC

FD engine into FC

I want to put in an FD engine into my 87 FC. I'm clueless.
Is there any problems on swapping it in because I'm confused




so if you can help me out plz

Look through the writeups in this section as it's been covered a number of times. Up top on the page you should see a section with FAQ like this one.

On another note...why are you wanting to swap these motors instead of just putting the money into your engine now? Is your car a turbo (I doubt that because you're asking this) and if it's N/A why not just put the turbo drivetrain into the car if you HAVE to have a turbo swap (or just use the money and try to find a turbo car).

I'm not bashing you at all, I'm just wondering your line of thinking and giving you some more cost effectvive ideas...are you new to the rotary world btw? It's an expensive place to be so keep that in mind

= Don't do it. You are nowhere near at the skill level this project requires.

I'm not trying to be offensive, just saving you some time. Do a bunch more searching on this forum to figure out whats involved. Buying/welding brackets, ECU questions, etc. Its entirely possible, but research first. This information exists.
