is there an easy way to keep the flywheel from spinning when taking the center bolt off of the flywheel? is there any good writeup on how to take off and reattatch the flywheel? any help would be great!

screw other in tranny hole on engine.

wait.. I just remembered, I JUST had the tool that you need. I gave it back to Steve last night. Just call him and I'm sure he'll let you borrow it.

It's like a little metal bracket deal with teeth on it that lock into the flywheel so it can't rotate.

Get a long piece of angle-iron, drill two holes in it to match the flywheel, thread two bolts through the angle-iron into the flywheel, turn the flywheel so that the angle-iron contacts the frame.

i rented an impact gun for 15 bucks and my neighbor had a air compressor so it worked out awsome took about literally 2 seconds but carrying the motor by hand across the street with snow and ice on the ground took the longest time haha
