Keep us updated on how well it works, my local mechanic advises Haltech but I really like what I've heard about this thing, at least from the Supra guys.

I have been debating over this or the pfc for months now you have to tell us all how that beautiful piece works out for you.

It looks pretty sweet, except for the picture of the Honda on the box. Is it about the same size as the stock ECU and does it use the same bolts? Oh, and tell us how good the software is!

Give us a screen shot!!! Use the print screen + the "alt" button at the same time to capture the screen shot, and then paste it into any image program (most any the MS ones seem to suck but sometimes work) then resize it and upload that sucker.
I would love to see the fuel map.

Question

Did anyone else catch that statement about the OMP and duty cycle of the stock injectors? I wonder if the PFC accounts for this in the INJ menu....

for starters the AEM ecus are all based off the same size meaning they ae all molded after the supra computer being that that is the bigges one.... it will not mount in the stock location..... i haved tuned and help tune about 15 at my shop for the honda and DSM guys with excellent success.... the only down side to this thing so far is that there is no base map for a single turbo.... i will be dealing with the guys over at AEM as usual on this though...... JP and JR and all the guys over there are very helpful and great to work with....

the software is the best and most easy to use after a slight learning curve... it is great to point click and drag and feel and watch the car react. as soo as i get my rad and exhaust and intercooler piping made it will be on the dyno on its way to making a base map. i shoud have some time to spice up my web site as well and BTW it is not a comercial site if you need somthing i can get it but i am not pushing products on it.(for the moderators.)

Hey Van,

well, in my PFC the secondary inj's are listed as 1300s. so does this mean the OMP is operating as it should?

NOPE, the stock Oil Metering pump is only capable of mixing enough oil to support the stock injectors. You can't turn it up to compensate for more fuel flow. So you have to pre-mix your gas!

Again, stock OMP can not compensate for larger injectors. You need to premix as well!

I have a few AEM's in stock. The instructions say it is setup for a stock RX-7. There is a big learning curve on the software. The options are overwhelming.
