A few glamour shots (excluding me in the background)

Over the last few days ive been getting the tune sorted on the MicroTech MTX-8L so it is good enough to drive around untill the hifflow is on and the exhaust and auto are modded. then i will get it dyno tuned for a max boost of 14PSI. I want it to last a while and I'm hoping to get around 250-250 rwHP without stressing anything to much

Please tell me you are you planning on switching out that auto. Cause that would be a waste of time, effort and money if not. In my opinion of course. Otherwise, car looks kinda like mine. Sept mine looks better. lol

Other than the Strut Tower Bar, what is the difference between the first and third pic? Maybe I'm just blind and don't notice anything.

The coil has been moved -- but that's about all I could see. And I had to study it after I read your post.

It's like one of those kids puzzles, can you spot the differences in these 2 pics?

Looking good though -- on my way to a turbo vert myself, although a diferent breed.

Not fond of the blue dash surround as it seems out of place since that and the shifter surround are the only pieces like that. If you did more trim peices like that, I might like it more. Buy hey, it's your car, I don't have to like it, you do!

good job!

thanks for the respones guys..

the blue bits are actual car paint painted with a gun ect... its left over from one of my old 1st gens.
the centre parts were painted silver when i bought the car and i had to replace the radio panel. i just wanted blue to give it a lift.
i might still ad more colour yet havent decited. the seats need a retrim sometime down the track so i might carry the colour to them. I know its a love hate thing with that sort of stuff

the RF amps havent ever given my any problems.. they are great!! i got one then, then kept adding lol if i have my choice i would prefer only 2 amps.

the engine bay, (thie pics arnt the best i know)
firstly look at the the dirt around the strut towers and the chassis rail and under the front coil. it was like carbon/soot all over everything!!

the coils are gone as is the air pump, BAC, all other emission gear thats hard to see in the pic's.
The tower bar as pointed out and the i/c and oil cap have been polished up stuff you cant see is the compleatly rewired engine loom for the MTX-8L, the old loom was so brittle.

Im stuck with auto due to having a screwed up left wrist after it was caught betwween two rollers and broke it in 5 places. so keep in mind ive done this all with one good hand and some help from a few freinds.

The auto is not that bad other than being a snail off the line. The 3200RPM stall convetor will launch the car on boost and it will be fine (im not into drag racing, if i was i would of brought a lighter car to start with! ).

It with have a shift kit to rasie the shift points in it too, and i can always shift it manually for a even better performance.
so its not like driving your daily auto, it will be greatly modded.

i'll keep you posted as the restof the mods are done.
