Where to buy a wire harness?

Anyone know where I can buy a replacement ECU wiring harness? All the connectors on mine were cracked and broken when I pulled my engine, and I need a replacement for when I put a rebuilt in there. I'm mostly looking for new/like new condition, but I guess anything will work.

Mazda or a junkyard, I don't know of anyone that makes a replacement harness.

The Mazda one is hugely expensive.. Junkyard ones, unless you do the work yourself, chances are some of the connectors will be broken :\ Especially 86-88s, those damn fuel injector and sensor plugs just crack if you look at them funny.

For some of you who have NEVER taken out the wiring harness to do an engine swap for instance....remember this quote, because Paul C is right on the money...

I bought mine through russel automotive. A mazda dealer on the east coast. That was 3 years ago though.

If I were to do it again I would just make my own. It's just wires and some plugs. I found New fuel injector plugs are sold at autoparts stores. Most of the plugs could be reused.

I guess archived meant that the part cannot be ordered anymore. But I was there yesterday and found the specific section of it I was looking for. 580

In the case with me, I need a new Front Wire Harness. The cost at www.mazdasurplus.com Is $180 US + surcharge of $50 + shipping.

This, In contrast to $2700 CAN + plus a massive discount of 20% at the dealership.

What should I do?

I'm Installing this behemoth tomorrow. I'm Impressed with this genuine Mazda Front Harness I received from Mazda Surplus. Even before It's Installation.

Thanks Icemark. I wouldn't have known about these guys If you hadn't posted the link. I saved big bucks...so I guess I kinda owe you one.

I'll post results when I'm done.
