New black third gen floormats **pics**

Due to factory floor mats no longer being in production and used mats being sold for way too much money i had these floor mats custom ordered to replicate the factory mats as close as possible. As you can see the fit is identical, however the new stiching is slightly larger in the "backstiched" area, there is a different trim and a rubberized non-skid "backing." They fit great in the car and even feel a little cushier on my feet.
Enjoy the pics(there were some smudges on the lense)
Bill

Wow, those look great. Where did you have them done, or are you gonna have those mass produced? I am sure you could easily sell quite a few sets.

Thanks for all the positive comments! The floormats were around $130 from Automat co. inc. in Hicksville NY. 516-938-7373.They were a custom order item, took them about 3 weeks to make them for me. If anyone is truly interested they would offer a 5% discount for 5 or more mats and 10%for 10 or more mats.

I'm in for a set as well. Get this on the 3rd gen. forum and I'm sure you'll get a LOT more interest. Bill, are you going to be setting up a group buy for us?

Ask them if they would do 100 shipped if we get 20-25 people.

I'm sure if you approach other custom mat place and give them 2500 dollar order, they will do it..

kind of like my RX8 shiftknob GB.. and the damn intake pipe GB awhile back..

well, this was quite the unexpected response, if there is enough people interested in a group buy i will have to talk to a admin to set it up. if anyone knows more about setting it up i'd be glad to help out, send me a pm.
Bill

edit-ill give the place a call monday morning, and ask if i order 20 sets whats the lowest they can go on the price. of course if this turns into a GB ill have to start another thread, with an actual price/forum donation etc. just keep an eye in this thread untill i have a chance to talk to a admin to set it up
