86-87.5 cars had low-impednace injectors (and a resistor pack), 87.5-91 cars had high-impedance injectors.

Your car is a 87 and it's a non-turbo. So your car should get one of two choices depending on the chassis number. IF your chassis is below JMIFC331 H0500001 550199 then you get low impedence injectors of approx 2.2 ohms, part nunber 195500-1350

If the chassis number is above the one listed above....you get high impedence injectors of approx 12 ohms.

So go look at your chassis number........on look and see if your car has a solenoid resistor located on the fender below the air filter assy. It's silver in color, approx four inches long, one and a half inches wide. Held down with two ten mm size nuts. Free online factory service manual at http://www.iluvmyrx7.com unfortunatly they don't have a 87 manual (best of the RX series cars) so you can't see an illustration of the solenoid resistor there. That item can be seen here: https://www.rx7club.com/forum/attach...postid=1320242 God willing the site will support that jpg.

OH. It's most likely the 529 set is an aftermarket set from Beck/Arnley. Just get a meter out and ohm out the two pins on the injector and see if its 2 ohms or approx 12 ohms.
