okay real quick question should i swap to the s5? im not planning on running super high boost levels, but the motor will be street ported, and run at track events and so forth. for the money is it worth just upgrading to the s5 ? also worried about the no waranty clause. has anyone gotten their motor from these guys and tested it?

Our S5 Jspecs are actually $50 cheaper than the S4s, they're easier to find.

My JDM one just blew.

People just get a USDM motor save the headaches and frigin rebuild it. By the time you get the JDM one and rebuild it you spent more money. Not to mention the wireing needed.

If your car is S4 then stay S4. If you go S5 you will need the S5 long block, S5 ECU with harness, and the S5 dash harness or splice in one to your s4 harness so it will plug into the ECU.
S4 would be much easier. But you can upgrade your s4 down the road and use a S5 turbo, S5 uim, lim and TB.

is where two of my friends bought there S4 motors for 650 plus 250 to ship.

i would get a usdm, but between the price of finding 2 good rotor housings and a good turbo im right at the same amount. i have 3 "good" cores apart in my garage and between those i have half a motor of good parts.
