Exhaust Decision

I'm looking for any opinions on these two exhausts:
-Blitz NUR Spec Cat back
-HKS Turbo Exhaust

I was going to go with one of these because they were both good name make and both under $400. I've seen good reviews in the Japanese Hyper Rev magazines about the Blitz, but I haven't found anything on the HKS Turbo. Any suggestions? Please include opinions on sound quality and installation problems/tips. Thanks again.

Also, let me know if the APEX'i N1 is worth paying another $100 compared to these two. Sorry, forgot to mention that.

Apexi N1 is not worth paying $100 more for the blitz... im not too sure about the hks turbo exhaust... You can always look at the Apexi GT-Spec exhaust. It costs a little more, but it might be worth it..

but if your choosing from the exhausts you listed, I would go with the Blitz Nur Spec.

if you search this topic you will find tons of information.

Let's see, this is what I've had:

Stock
Greddy PE
HKS
Apexi Dual N1
JIC Bullet

Out of these, the JIC is the BEST!!!...NO other FD comes even close to the sound...it KICKS ***!!!

Check out the GReddy J-spec at www.rx7.com

It is the same desing as the N1, but only costs $445 and has 3.75" piping
I love mine, it is just like any regualr GReddy exhaust, quiet and low at idle and loud as a mother at WOT.

How does this work? I'd like to do the same thing but would rather fab something myself.

The APEX'i N1 is only a few dollars more, like $448 or so, but then with the silencer, its $460 something. I was thinking about this exhaust because I see so many 7 owners who are satisfied with it and then the silencer does have some appeal to me for driving around neighborhoods at night. I don't want to be a nuissance or set off alarms when I'm not trying to. There's not silencer for the NUR Spec, unless I cut one myself, but then what about the Greddy J-spec? It looks pretty nice, although I'm not running higher boost on my turbos yet, so I don't know how much the extra fraction of an inch will do for me over the N1.

By the way, I was also considering a reasonable budget for my pipe. It'd be nice to go with a full Titanium race pipe, but then again, I'm not wealthy enough to consider $800+ for exhaust a reasonable budget choice. Sorry to bust the great idea bubbles out there, but I'm just getting started on my FD and this time I'm working with my own pocket change. The shop is where I get to pick it, stick it, and worry about money later. Thanks for the ideas though.

If those are your two choices, go with the Blitz. It looks much better IMO. Good luck!

Um. I have a Greddy SP exhaust and down pipe, my car makes 230 rwhp. It sounds bad *** and doesn't make my bumper all black.

Get the hks racing 4" exhaust!

Everything else is just second best...

BTW: It's not that loud at an idle but will scream when you get on it, it sounds nice.

Hey Jspecracer, how much and where can that system be found for? It looks pretty sweet. Does it come with a silencer option?
