I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who supported and stood up for what's right. Whether that's for or against me.

Scrodes, I was gonna respond right after your post and go ballistic on you. But I wasn't brought up that way. I was raised so that when ignorant people insult with bad words, you do not respond in kind, but rather forgive and overlook, and say nothing but good words in return.

So I'll suffice to say that (after Phil & I exchanged our respective apologies lol) kindly stay on topic, and keep the comments professional. Unprofessional and off-topic comments will simply be ignored and promptly edited.

Again, I am committed to trying to get everything sorted out for everyone ASAP, and to make sure everyone is happy (Hey Bryan, that includes you. No I don't need to see the receipts, yes I believe you lol. I kiiid). And we're starting that promise by taking care of Phil & John tomorrow.

Lastly, I gotta ask a (probably rhetorical) question. If I have your parts, AND I have your money, AND you want - no - NEED me to get you your stuff ASAP, you've essentially described a situation where I hold ALL the cards, and the situation is completely in my hands. So why ON EARTH would you mouth off, be disrespectful, and antagonize me in such a situation? If I was a bad dude, I could, oh, I dunno..."lose" some parts. Or damage them. Or poorly pack them. Or better yet, simply process them LAST. And you have NO leverage otherwise.

Now I'm not saying that I WOULD do that, but I COULD... So WHY you'd up the anti when you're currently high & dry, I simply don't know... Thankfully, you don't have to worry about that, cuz I answer to a Higher Authority, so I'll be doing my best to be fair and just across the board, regardless of how you act toward me.

Personally, I would suggest gentle, continuous, but professional nudging and pressure would be the way to go. At least that's what I do when I'm dealing with someone who has what I need, and have everything to lose...

Respectfully,
~Ramy

Everyone is very frustrated and that is quite apparent. Friendships expand and contract naturally just like the waves of our oceans. This has tested so many and I hope when all this is said and done, we can put this behind us. I hope everyone does not take things to heart and after this is all over, we can be a community once again. In hindsight, I will say that I did get to talk with quite a few voicing my concerns and friendships have spawned because of this. And those friendships very well could prove to be more valuable than material objects we have purchased in this container.

Friendship more important that money or material objects?! What is this craziness you speak of?

BTW, Phil & John came & confirmed that the parts actually ARE in my possession (lol) and picked up their parts, but not without getting a taste of the good 'ol FL heat! haha

Didn't get back to my house til about 2am and just woke up couple of hours ago.

All the parts looked great and Ramy had them all out for our inspections and helped us load on to the truck and trailers. It was nice to see him again as I haven't seen him since Dgrr few years ago.

It was a long process and at the end all worked out. He understands the frustrations we are all going through and he is now trying to make sure we are going to be happy since all are now in his possession. I also tried to understand his frustration when he does not have control when parts are not in his hands.

Anyhow, I'm glad all worked out and my 48 hour, 1200+ mile trip was worth it. Now I need to finish couple of projects.

Thanks Ramy!

Glad you guys got home safely! And definitely good to see you guys again. Been too long my friends...

BTW is the BBQ you're talking about? https://www.rx7club.com/se-rx-7-foru...zmart-1069609/

For everyone else, I'm working a couple days back to back right now, but I have a couple of days toward the end of this week with some free time in them, so I'm gonna try and search for some of your guys' parts, and get some of 'em ready for shipping! So hopefully some of you will be hearing from me soon (toward the end of the week if not the beginning of next week).

Alright everyone. Here's what I got:

- I've inventoried over 95% of everything I have. And I've identified virtually EVERYONE'S parts (minus 1 or 2 parts).

- I've cross-referenced all those parts on my Expense sheet

- I'm about halfway done with the individual expense sheets I'm gonna be emailing to each of you. I was REALLY trying to knock it ALL out today, but it's almost 3AM, and I'm outta gas. Gonna try and finish it all tomorrow, so hopefully I can email 'em all out by tomorrow night. No promises, but tryin hard.

Once we get that taken care of, it's smooth sailing.

Also, I've got almost everyone's parts wrapped up, but the packaging and shipping part isn't gonna be fun. I picked up a ton of boxes, tape, and packing material, but I can tell ya guys from NOW that it's gonna be to your advantage to utilize Greyhound Package Express services, cuz a LOT of these parts are large, oddly shaped, and fragile = gets expensive via USPS or FedEx FAST.

Alright...that's enough for tonight. Will pick up where I left off tomorrow.

Thanks,
~Ramy

Alright everyone. I finished crunching the #s for everyone, and everyone should have an email from me with the breakdown in their inbox.

Please look it over, and EMAIL me back any questions or concerns you may have.

PLEASE DO NOT post your grievances on the forum. It's MUCH harder to identify who's username corresponds to who's email address & real name (and I don't wanna post that info publicly), and much harder to track our conversations that way as well.

So I look forward to receiving EMAIL replies from each and every one of you.

If you HAVE NOT received an email from me, please DO post on this forum, cuz that means I've forgotten about ya LOL.

Thanks,
~Ramy

Scrodes, I'll double check and get back to ya.

As an update, a couple ppl's parts have already shipped out (the ones that I could easily box up). Everyone else, I ordered a ton of boxes & packing material last weekend; am awaiting all of the supplies to come over the next few days. A lot of these parts were packed adequately for a container, but not to ship solo via Fedex etc, given how many of them are very fragile. So bear with me a bit longer while I build out a bunch of boxes, pack them, and generate some quotes so I can get them on over to ya.

Again, everyone will hear from me individually via email re: these quotes.

Thanks,
~Ramy

unwritten-dinasty, I do have one, but a full 99spec cluster, not just the tach.

rx7+8=nice, will reply shortly.

UPDATE:

I just received my carton stapler, staples, and HUGE order of boxes & packing material. Just knocked out 4 boxes (each is quite time-consuming, especially when you're making a box out of mult. different smaller sized boxes), cuz I wanna make sure everything arrives safe & sound.

I'm about to send emails to those whom I just finished up their boxes.

The rest, kindly stay tuned. I'm on it.

Davin, BTW, I emailed ya twice. Your stuff's been boxed up & ready to go for like 2 weeks now...

Lastly, anyone know how to get ahold of Joel Serrano? I only have an email for him, but haven't been able to get ahold of him since even before the container shipped. (Please do NOT post any of his info publicly; PM med).

Quick thought - I've shipped wheels before and I've found that "performance stores" are more than happy to give wheel boxes away free. Might make your life a little easier.

?? I was being sincere. I know I'm not the only one who ordered wheels and I spent ages trying to figure out how to ship wheels out myself before. I mentioned in passing to the owner of the local performance shop that I wasn't looking forward to building boxes for a set of 19" wheels and he insisted I take four out of his recycle. So I figured I'd offer this solution for any wheels any of us had ordered to save Ramy from making boxes - because I know how much of a PITA that can be.

Thanks for the tip man. No one has 19" wheels with me. 17s and 18s, and those fit very nicely in 20 X 20 x 20 boxes.

The problem are parts like panels, SPOILERS (which are thin, but friggin SUPER long), bumpers, exhausts, FENDERS, etc.

Again, can you pack 'em well enough so they don't get damaged while on a container? Sure. Will that withstand the manhandling items typically get when en-route with Fedex/UPS/USPS/etc? Heck no.

I'm probably 3/4 done with all of the parts at this point, and am shipping out 2 additional customers' parts on Monday.

Then it's back to building boxes, packing, and getting things on their way.

Thanks,
~Ramy
