looks great, i was just wondering if it was possible to move the IC core towards the pass side more (if we don't stick our intake filter there, like 1-2inches to use the turbojeff batt tray

Just a point of concern (because the reason why I'm looking for a new setup is because of an enormous pot-hole):

How close is the bottom of the radiator to the ground?

Also, I was wondering where you mounted the radiator fans...

it WILL come with a rad, most vmounts do, or else it'd kinda defeat the whole purpose

I dont have a measurement right now, but the kit does retain the stock undertray. I basically daily drive my car(when it is running) and Dan shared my concern to make sure that the radiator sat at a safe level above the ground.

The radiator fans are mounted on the back side of the radiator in the same fashion as on the stock radiator.

I will try to get some pictures soon, maybe tomarrow, i have the day off.

Hey Ramy,

Yeah, I was gonna ask the 2 questions I posted above and say congrats on your store. My radiator's got a pretty nice hole in it so I think I'm gonna be waiting for your kit in the mean time.

I hate to ask because I know everyone does at least once a week, but how close are we to being able to buy the kit? I'm about ready to commit and sell my current IC.

Well if you'd like one of our prototype radiators so you can design your own kit we have two available.
But right now we're waiting on the final revision of the radiator, and because of a mixup with the machine shop it will take a bit longer then it already has. I'm hoping to get this kit finalized January. January seems like a long way off, but we need to make sure everyone can retain A/C and PS....otherwise the kit would be ready a bit sooner.

Regards,
Dan

Jon,
There should be room for an AST. We'd like to include the elimination kit with the v-mount though, but I suppose we could have the option of keeping the AST.

Link,
That IC was the customers choice, our cores will be a tube and fin design. I've always preferred the tube and fin design over bar and plate

Regards,
Dan

Is the radiator or rad fans ahead or lower than the two tow hooks?

The v-mount is going to work with the stock undertray, which meanas it will clear anything the stock undertray will. Unless you want the radiator to get ripped off the car when going over a bump, we can design a special toolowtodrive edition radiator and mounts; but you'll have to sign a special waiver.

That's why I asked, also the stock undertray can be pulled just as low as the tow hooks and still attach to a low bumper. I wouldn't use the stock undertray fitting as criteria for it being higher than the tow hook loops. Take a look at the Knightsports install for an example of that.

Any update on this? Also, do you have an idea if it will be cheaper then the HKS V-Mount?
