FYI guys, I've ordered one of each, and am awaiting their arrival before proceeding w/ the GB. Some stuff I'm just a bit cautious of, when I've never ordered it before (my personal Spirit R collection consists of used parts).

Thanks,
~Ramy

I was just notified today that the parts are on backorder; I'm told they'll be back in stock in a month, so I won't have 'em until very late November or the first of December. So sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride...

Hey guys,

I just got the parts a few days ago, brand new from Mazda. All I can say is W - O - W. Seriously. I was just I've forgotten what these badboys look like new. I can tell you with confidence that NOTHING - and I mean NOTHING will come even CLOSE to the quality of these parts (shift ****, shift boot, e-brake ****, and e-brake boot) that's OEM - and I am not easily impressed. And that's not to say anything negative about other products, but I really gotta say, Mazda outdid themselves on this one. I'd STRONGLY suggest you guys pony up for the real deal (including the boots), because when you see the parts in person, you will KNOW you've spent your money well. THAT, I guarantee.

Glad to see you're updating, Ramy.

Exactly how much money will be well spent on this little endeavor? Now that you've purchased the pieces, I assume you have a price figure in mind?

Ramy, thanks for update. Perhaps the GB for this will be around the estimated GB for your VMIC project early '08 (January)? I'm for certain on the VMIC purchase and hopefully this Spirit R set wil be the icing on cake if the pricing will be within a couple hundred (I know it will cost a lot!)

Christmas shopping is gonna' hurt most of us so let us heal our pockets. Regardless, I am willing to pay to play.
