Does anyone have a clearer image of the floor mats??
I'm interested in these... my original floor mats have seen better days.

Unless you have RHD drive setup, spirit R floor mats won't do LHD owners any good, unfortunately.

No worries... And thanks for the kind words man. Stuff like that really makes me feel it's all worthwhile

Exactly. That's why what I do is run a GB on high quality US-contoured floor mats, with several options (logo placement, logo color, mat color, mat trim color, heel pads, the whole 9).

Woa, wait a sec. I was pretty sure the floor pan of the car doesn't change between RHD and LHD. So technically the floor mats would fit our cars.
From the pic provided, it appears the floor pan is the same as LHD cars.

I was really curious to see what the mats themselves say.
I'm trying to keep my FD within it's time period. If the mats actually say Spirit R on them, then it's no use to me.

Neo, you're wrong lol. The floor pan is different. The carpets are different. The floor mats are different (they may "fit" but they're definitely different). The dash contour (on the floor) is different. As such, the deadrest foot pedal is different.

I was really curious to see what the mats themselves say.

The ones I'd be selling would say "RX-7" on them, not "Spirit R" (unless a bunch of ppl wanted a Spirit R emblem/logo too).

Hmmm, interesting... I think I'll have to check out a RHD in person just to see how much is different.

Regardless, I will be needing some original mats then.
Who's interested in starting a GB on this??

Thanks for the pic.
Not to be negative or anything, but those don't look any thing like the original mats.
Do we know if the dealerships can still place an order on mats? Or are they so outrageously priced it drives us to make our own??

Personally I like the updated lettering and material quality. The mats are much more durable and eye pleasing than my OEMs, which were not in bad shape. They also have a rubber spikes on the back to keep them from sliding.

Mazda hasn't sold the LHD mats new in a long time. If you find an unused set, be prepared to pay $500+. RHD mats don't match our floor pattern.

RedR1 sits calmly, rubbing his hands together.

I can't wait to see the actual prices Ramy. 2007 is in the wraps, and the new budget is out for my other FD project for 2008, and i will need many parts. . . So you will be seeing me a lot again (much more than last year).

I went to visit the Mazdaspeed link and I noticed they took away the FD stuff completely!
Only the present car productions have parts from Mazdaspeed.

I was trying to look for the Mazdaspeed shifter and parking brake. The same ones that came standard in the Bathurst R.

Ramy,
Can you get those items?

Thanks,

Didja think I was joking when I posted this? https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-generation-specific-1993-2002-16/mazdaspeed-discontinuing-much-their-fd-parts-690654/.

As of a few weeks ago, they still had SOME FD parts posted. I guess now w/ the new year and all, they've completely D/Ced the entire product line...

Ramy,

Thanks,
You talkin about the CF ones? They've already been discontinued; I can try and see if they have any left in stock. Otherwise, I'll have to hunt down a good condition used set for ya. Email me about this plz... (otherwise it doesn't get done lol).

I have the Mazdapseed CF shift **** (not the one shown in pics above but very similar shape as stock shift ****). When I pick up a set of these Spirit-R shift/ebrake ****...I'm selling the Mazdaspeed one.

Ramy, you still interested in it - I remember you expressing interesting in buying it? Bought it from Corksport back in Spring '07 and have original box and documents.

P.S. ...Ramy, I'm going to pick up those stickers I PM'd you about with with all this GB stuff.

FDZero, sounds good.

And yes, I'm interested in the ****. I do actually look to pick up some of the nicer & rarer parts from you guys, simply because I get a VERY high volume of requests for parts in general, so chances are, I have someone looking to buy what you're looking to sell. That way it works out for all of us
