No, I had the same problem. I emailed Ramy last week and I'm waiting on a reply.

ramy man its been like 3 or 4 weeks now.. i understand you said youd get back to us but come on.

 

I know that posting this here will do nothing to make Ramy come back and resolve our problems quicker. I'm just frustrated and this is the only thing I can do. Dammit.

On a side note: I recently had a VIN key cut by Mazda and it didn't work as well?!? Maybe there's an issue with Mazda?

 

i prob would of been better to go to like home depot or some place to just copy the keys then, and i dont think ramy even has anymore keys.. this sucks emails dont work just cant get a hold of him`

 

he had better ******* have more keys! I still haven't gotten mine.

 

i didnt mean he dont have keys to send out, i ment it as he may not have any extra for lets say the ones that were messed up on.

 

What a waste. I'd at least like my money back. He can have the key.

 

im not saying that is the case tho, he can have extras to maybe swap them out

home depot or lowe wont even cut the key for me, they say its not the same key width or lenth?

 

metal to metal i think its the same length its just the keys top part is shorter than the ones we got width im not sure about

 

i had to shave the sides down alittle, it was too wide and now it goes into the key hole

 

Wow, sorry to hear you guys are still having problems here. After I got my original back I kinda didn't want to know anymore about this fiasco... I did also recieve my new versions from Ramy. I had the local mazda dealership cut mine off my old key and the new ones work just fine for me. Sucks to hear some of you are having problems. I would wish you all luck but it appears you will need much more than luck...

Good news (at least for me)! I went to the Mazda dealer today to see if they could re-cut my keys. They couldn't do a VIN cut but were able to do a profile cut using my original key. Both of my new key's now work perfectly. And best of the Mazda service manager did this for free (I think he really just wanted to take a closer look at my FD).

 

LOL @ a year later and still no item.

i wonder if i pepboys can do the cutting aswell, or ill try to take it to a mazda dealership aswell to get it recut

 

it would be nice if we hadn't already paid for our keys, but thanks, and don't be surprised if your post gets deleted
