Well I've been looking for an FC tow hook since my latest incident with the car, luckily I had an extremely careful tow truck operator so all was good. Those of you that have lowered & modded FCs and have ever needed a tow know that its a bitch to get the car up onto a truck safely using the stock tie downs or axles.

Those that track their cars would probably be interested in these as well.

That being said, I did a little bit of looking and found these offered by Re-Amemiya:


They are listed for ~$110 Each on the Re-Amemiya site. I bet Ramy could knock that down some.

I do not have any confirmed pics of these on a car. I do have pics of what look like might be these on an FC with the ends painted red. Here they are:


If anyone has any more info on these or pics of them on a car, please post.

Also if anyone knows of any other FC tow hooks that are available please let me know.

Ramy if you have or can get any extra info on these that would be great. The Amemiya site doesn't have much. They only list the one hook, I'm not sure if the same hook can be mounted in the rear.

Nope. I posted it in the 2nd gen section as well and no one was interested. I wound up buying some very nice Super Now tow hooks.

 

By the way, is that blue FC bodykit by Re-Amemiya?

Aret here more pics of that tow hook on another FC? I would like to see the location with other bumpers or stock.

 

Not to jack this tread, but do you have anymore info on that FC? Specifically the exhaust.

 

i'm pretty sure the guy that owns or owned the FC used to be on this forum YEARS ago. his english wasn't very good at the time, but i definately remember that car or one with the same kit that was silverish.

 

I love that kit. I know the hood & front is RE's old style, but i dont know where the fender kit came from. It may be safe to say it was an RE creation. I'd love to have it!

 

Yea that's a full RE widebody from back in the day. I'm pretty sure I've seen it for sale in Japan (the bodykit) once or twice over the past few years, but it wasn't cheap, and without a buyer lined up, I passed it up... Sure looks nice though!

*Back on topic* - *ahem* - Mark, if you want the tow hooks, I can get 'em for ya no prob. GB isn't really necessary, although it would be nice. But it just doesn't look like it's gonna happen. Doesn't mean I still can't get 'em for ya though!
