GB Interest: Illuminated(or not) Rx8 5 Speed Shift Knobs

I think you guys are underestimating how much they will cost though. They're not cheap as they are OEM. During the last GB for these, I think they were $175 or so.
gimme gimme gimme non illuminate.... I'm not a patient man but can wait 9 weeks.... but only 9.
I'd also be interested in Ramy's Primary Turbo Inlet duct that he has for sale hint hint sent e-mail

That would be nice as ****. Should fit the Miata Short shifter right? Ah hell, my stock S5 **** did so of course it would. I'm in as long as it doesn't cost a fortune and a half. I'm not an FD guy!!! I can't afford it!!!

I believe they only come in one color - amber. You can take the top off though and put in any color LED you wish. I only know this because one of my mechanics blew the LED in mine and I made them fix it for me

The price tag will not deter me from disassembling mine and swapping LEDs!!
How did they blow the LED in your ****?
7_rocket, you didn't misread. This is an interest thread for the Illuminated and Non Illuminated *****. I only listed ~$100 for the non illuminated one because thats what the price for them is elsewhere. The illuminated ones will be significantly more.
^Can't quite remember but Rettit Racing did it in about 2 years ago. As I recall, they had the center console apart and were wiring for something else when they crossed wires and the LED popped. They immediately took it off and rewired a new LED on.

Also, today I realized that the illuminated ***** are available wrapped in Black, Tan, or Red leather. I don't know about the non illuminated ***** though but I assume that they probably are.
I think a red leather **** would be totally awesome in a red interior FD.

Ok guys, please keep in mind and respect my forum rules. No mention of other vendors, no advertisement of competing products. Other vendors don't pay to advertise in my space...I do
Re: price, it won't be anywhere near $100. So if that's too much for you, don't hold your breath. OEM shift ***** are more expensive than that. Last I checked they were like $120...and that's just regular black leather.
As Juiceh said, this is an illuminated shift ****, it's 5-speed (vs. the common 6-speed one) and it's available in different leather colors. It's an expensive **** any way you cut it. So please keep that in mind. I don't sell *anything* cheap, so if that's what you're looking for, you're in the wrong section
I'll get back to you guys shortly w/ pricing on the ****.
Oh and if there's enough interest, I have no prob running a GB on the non-illuminated one as well.
Thanks,
~Ramy

^I spoke with him via pm. price was a quite a bit more than the ~$172 that these are available for elsewhere. I'm hoping ramy will be able to give us better prices.

Whoops, I posted this from my slow PDA phone and didn't see ramy had responded. I was referring to the other seller, not ramy. Sorry for the confusion.
^ I'm telling you, go for the illuminated one. It will be the best money you'll spend on interior upgrades. I'll post pics for you as soon as I get my car back.
Sounds silly, I know, but it's true.

I have the RX-8 black **** and it's worth the $. It definately updates the car. I would get the illuminated one if I could. I tried another shop but he doesn't understand english very well and said Mazda only has 6-spd. Mazdacomp doesn't have the part # either.
