Just installed my dual oil cooler kit yesterday. Fit and finish were perfect. Dan, Charlie, and Ramy did a very nice job. No detail was overlooked.

please be more specific... Are you using a stock single cooler? The kit upgrades both stock R1 coolers and single coolers.

No, as of now our kit eplaces the stock cooler with either an upgraded single cooler or two new coolers. We are working on what you are describing though. In the next few weeks we should have it sorted out.

?... I was under the impression that this kit would convert my stock single cooler set up to dual...

What would the point of this kit be otherwise?'

What else would I need for the complete conversion then?

It doesn't convert your setup to a dual. It replaces your single with 2 new dual oil coolers which are bigger. I think Scrub misunderstood you, though I really have no idea what hes talking about lol (like you).

I would like to order the kit with dual setrabs and stainless lines. However I have the '99 spec front end and RE V-mount, so I would need the special h/w. Also I have a RE-Amemiya sway bar mount which has a bar connecting the mounts, I'm not certain from the pictures but I don't think that bar would interfere with the thermostat mounting, however it'd be nice to be sure. Also does this kit work with the RE-speed oil pedistal? Also I read that you guys may have an AN option for the oil pedistal connection? And I was thinking, some stainless brake lines have a plastic coating to prevent rubbing with other components, could this possibly be ordered for your lines? A lot of this is custom stuff I could probably have done, but I'm just throwing it out there. And any updates on pricing for the '99 and RE V-mount options? Thanks

Andy, I am still gathering all the necessary parts for the 99 spec front bumpers. Sorry this is taking so long, but getting new brackets designed and produced can be a pain. I have the RE v-mount on my car and I had to make a custom bracket to lower the thermostat to clear the radiator fans. Like I said before, I can make you a custom mount to work with the RE v-mount. Are you using the RE-speed pedestal with banjo fitting or male -10 fitting?
The Sway bar mount shouldn't really get in the way, I guess it's possible, but I wouldn't worry about it too much. You would have to add your own plastic coating to the lines if you wanted it, I have never seen that coating on anything but brake lines. Also I am not making a solution for the RE V-mount; I'll just make a custom bracket if people need it. Once we finish the 99 spec kit, it will be around $100 extra.

-Dan

Eminent, I guess we did then

Ok, so I will wait for the '99 spec kit. I do not have the RE-speed pedestal yet but I was planning on installing it at the same time as the oil coolers to get the additional sensor mounting locations and I would want as much AN as I could get. Is that an option for the kit? I will look into having the lines plastic coated or buying some already coated. Thanks

I would just get the standard lines then. They look great and I don't see any real benefit of going with the stainless, besides looks, for this kit.

The line that comes of the stock pedestal is AN with our kit. You can either get a -10 male AN fitting with the RE pedestal or a banjo...our kit uses the banjo.

Waiting on the CNC shop to finish the production. It can take up to a month, they're a bit slow. Sorry for the delay, I know you've been waiting patiently.
