Update: I just spoke w/ Knightsports, and Thank God, they agreed to keep the GB pricing on 6 units, even though I had originally requested 10. So we're good to go.
- The HID kits are available immediately
- The headlights will be ready in early December
So once everything is ready and it ships out to us, we'll be sure to update this thread again.
In the meantime, if anyone wants to jump in late in the next week or so, please do!
Thanks!

Dude I dont see anything saying that the HID KIT will support the STOCK WIRING and is PLUG AND PLAY. However it was mentioned that the non hid kit is easystock wiring, simple plug and play. Can you confirm?

Oh yea, almost forgot. Xenon HID lamps are 35 watts while traditional halogen bulbs are anywhere from 50 to 250 watts. So HID lamps actually draw LESS current than higher wattage bulbs, while still producing up to 3 times the light output. It is true, however, that igniting the Xenon bulbs requires more current, but that's transient/very brief.

Yea KS said the kits are running a bit behind; we're now looking @ mid-December for them to be ready and shipped to us. The dilemma that places on us is whether or not to ship 'em out immediately...as I always try and stay as far away as possible from mailing ANYTHING around the holidays (in which case I'd prefer to wait until the first week of January). Otherwise, there's a very high risk of parts getting damaged and/or lost in transit.

I absolutely would (feel more comfortable waiting). In fact, I'd STRONGLY suggest it, to the point that if someone's dead set on having theirs shipped during the holiday rush, I'd be inclined to make sure they relieve me of any responsibility if the kit is lost or damaged. It's simply not smart to try and ship around that time...
