I know Mahjik talked about selling his car a while back; I didn't pay that any mind... He can't sell it...he's Mahjik!
MotoTek, as mentioned earlier, the new website will feature fully up-to-date pricing and automated shopping (w/ a shopping cart, auto-invoice, etc etc) very soon. In the meantime, if you'd like to place an order, plz visit the Orders page on the existing website: www.fdnewbieimports.com
Thanks,

the instructions are prettymuch useless
i found it being really helpful laying everything out first and connect all the wires to the lights so you get a clear idea where everything goes. The long wires gets a bit confusing, but after everything's hooked up, it only use one of original headlight wire plugs on one end and the other ends just plugs up to the 4 IPF lights. which order of the wires? just have to trial and error.. outter lights are Lowbean and inner lights are highbeam (looking at the angle they project)
the hardest part of the whole process is removing the stock headlights + casing. not that its hard, but just take the most time. remove everything except the motor+motor bracket, the spoon-like connecting rode can be poped off w/ a twist. After the KS brackets are in, everything else will fall into place. EXCEPT the black cover. KS made an extra bracket on the side for the outside hole for the bracket to hold (i guess) but there's no way it'll reach while lining up w/ the IPF lights themselves. So the only way for the blackcover to hold is using the most outside screw for the lowbeam light for the outter screw hole of the cover.
hope that helps...

Any chance of a walk thru or some english instructions? I'm looking at this japanese manual scratching my head... Do I need to get some kinda sleepy eye module or is it optional?

wtfx100, the sleepy eye look has nothing to do w/ the KS headlight kit; it just so happens that many ppl who got the KS kit did the sleepy eye mod to it, but they are two separate and distinct things.
Thanks,

Honestly must say I'm pretty shocked for 850$ hid upgrade all i got were a pair of bulbs and a ballast. Figured they'd include some housings for them but um... no such luck. The hid install instructions must have also been a very cruel way of getting back at the americans for WW2 because the instructions are VERY faded photocopies.

The 4 IPF lights seem to be the same so theres no difference between highbeam and low beam? I take it only how u plug into the harness determines which is hi/lo?

and the wiring: white with black strip is low beam, white with no strip is hi-beam...
Ramy,
so pleased in fact i'm considering getting a 2nd set for my red car...but that would be a few months down the road, want to get the car running better before i do the exterior

that is correct. the high beams are the ones closer to the center and lo beams are the outter lights. You'll be able to tell once they're lit. the center ones shoot straight and the outer once comes in at an angle. giving wider and closer range. the wires are the same color. only way to check is turning them on and re-connect if one or both are wrong.
