Actually, ramy, is there anyway I could purchase a simple key blank (or a mazda key, depending on price difference), have it VIN cut, and then sent to me in addition to the others? I have antoher question too but I'll send you an email as I feel it may not be something you'd like asked in the thread...

JHew, if I understand correctly, you want any old cheapo key VIN cut to try out, and if it works, you'll get your Efini/Flying M/Spirit-R key VIN cut too? If so, yes I can def. do that.

Update: I think all the parts have arrived in Japan and should be shipping to me shortly... Stay tuned!

Any update? I am as patient as the next guy, its just that I paid for my keys 4 months ago. Since then I have gotten no update. Ive been running around with 1 key to my car...which scares me (I lose my keys on a regular basis...dont ask). Im sure you will get them to us as soon as you can, but a little heads up would be nice.

 

Don't worry, when there's an update to be had he will post, otherwise it's just prolonging peoples hope... He got my el-cheapo VIN cut key to me extremely fast so when he has something in his hands ready to ship out, you'll see it in a VERY timely manner.

I'd say if you are truly worried about losing your keys you might wanna just get a cheap copy made to keep on hand until these nicer ones are stateside and ready to ship out! I'm not really getting these to have extra keys, I just think they will be nicer, I have a couple sets of keys to my FD for those "just in case" instances .

 

I just got an arrival notification; I THINK the keys are here! Stay tuned!

Sure. Just FYI, it's not free (it's for a minor fee) cuz I still gotta pay for the el-cheapo key and the VIN-cutting. Just email me if you're interested.

B_Hydra, totally worth it! If anyone has any doubts whatsoever about the VIN not matching for whatever reason this worked out fine and now I have a nice extra VIN cut key .
