QUESTION:

Would you guys be interested in me offering these keys as VIN-cut keys (cut EXACTLY to your OEM door lock cylinder specs, so no worries about shops - and yes, even dealers - messing you cutting the key for you, or cutting it based on a worn out 15+ year old OEM key)? They would indeed be VIN-cut and shipped out from there directly to you, the customer, once they've been cut. All I'd need is the VIN. And all you'd need to do is open the envelope and your key is 100% ready to use This service would be at an additional cost, however.

Lemme know if this interests you guys (just tryin to make your lives easier).

Thanks!
~Ramy

PS: I will NOT be starting a list of who wants this now...just throwing the option out. Once the GB is closed, and the order is placed, THEN we'll get a list going if you guys want to pursue this route (I try not to complicate things for me too much haha).

I am interested, and I want it!

I already sent my payment though, is it too late?

EDIT:

nevermind, I take it this will be offered as an option once YOU have the keys, right? so not too late?

Yes, this is something I'd offer AFTER the GB is closed, and while I'm waiting on the keys to arrive to me.

Rob haha...thanks man! I try

dhahlen, oh you sly one. You caught me...I'm definitely trying to steal like 47 FDs, but of course, the only way possible would be to do it in ONE night. A single heist. By the time the last car is stolen, the first car is being reported missing. Gone In 60 Seconds style LOL

But seriously, I treat stuff like this with the UTMOST level of care, respect and privacy. So no need to worry; I'd treat this no diff than if it were my own FD on the line (and hopefully that's the kind of character you guys have come to trust & expect from me )

You know Ramy if you managed to steal 47 FD's in one night from all across the country...I think I'd have to give you some serious credit.

After I hunted you down and got my FD back

Dude, owning an FD is the greatest anti-theft device...cuz there's NO WAY anyone can steal several FDs in one night...at least some of 'em are BOUND to break down on ya and leave ya stranded...and NO ONE can come up with THAT many tow trucks (not to mention and be inconspicuous about it) hahahaha

This is a good idea, thanks. It would depend on cost. I just had a local locksmith cut a key for my Mazda3 from the code. It wasn't that expensive AND he was able to cut a trial key with a "cheap" blank first to be sure it all worked.

Question to your question... and this is purely because I always think up the most off the wall scenarios that could go wrong with any given situation ... what if somewhere along the line someone replaced the door/ignition cylinders, and they no longer match the VIN?

I'd definitly be interested in this pending how much it would cost ... would be cool to have for sure.
